Uruguay midfielder Diego Arismendi was handed his debut after impressing in two reserve games.

Andy Griffin celebrated his dramatic injury-time winner at the Britannia to settle a seven-goal thriller and see Stoke into the Carling Cup last 16.
Diego Arismendi started in midfield and played fairly well, but unfortunately went off at half time with a hamstring injury.
